as the season starts

The Frederick Force is off and running in their second season! This season has our teams scheduled to play over 90 games.  That's a lot of basketball.   This year we have 50 athletes playing on one of our four teams.  We're blessed with wonderful coaches and terrific fans....the start of the season has been fabulous.

As we head into the Christmas break, the Middle School Girls are 3-3.  They are working together as a team and having a lot of fun!   They placed second in the Mountainview Season Opening Tournament and took third in the New Life Holiday Shootout.  They are off to a great start!

The Middle School Boys are 4-3.   They took 3rd place in both the Mountainview Season Opener and the New Life Holiday Shootout. The Middle School Boys are off to their best start ever....they are in the conference with their next game scheduled on Monday.   Oh, and they're really quite serious....

The Varsity Girls started off the season with a strong showing.  They are currently 7-2 as they head into the Christmas Break.  They took 3rd place in the St. Maria Goretti Holiday Classic.  The Varsity Girls are the first of our Force teams to play a game against a college.   On December 1st they opened the season for Patrick Henry College and won!

The Varsity Boys go into Christmas break with a record of  1-3.  They are playing with character and teamwork.  They are developing and growing with each and every game.  They play the final game for the Force of 2011 on New Year's Eve against the Loudon County Patriots.
